Many people rave about the Rapaport sheet because of its prestige but the only ones who can accurately read it and interpret it are jewelers who understand the different cuts of a diamond. Just because you know the name of a particular diamond cut is not going to help you with this sheet. You have to know about depth and angles through a microscope. Forget about using a Rapaport sheet. A jeweler will help you interpret one which they are happy to do as they can inflate a diamonds price with this report almost 30%. Your best off checking with several diamond discounters and comparing similar rings.
